I recently came across one of the many delightful artist to inhabit the lands across the pond, Ben Onono. The house music maven may been a relative unknown but his work is slowly coming into it's own with his latest release,
The single released last year is a cover of the classic house track "It just wont do". Onono's voice is reminiscent off the raspy drawl of Nina Simone and Harry Belafonte mixing with a samba lullaby. Its just the kind of catchy upbeat song as you go about your day. I cant wait till his next release.
