The Power Within is a new comic due to be released in August 2011 is a comic about 8th grader Shannon, a queer teen who can transform (albeit in his mind) into a superhero in moments of distress. The comic follows his first few days in 8th grade dealing with bullies and discrimination. The comic will be sold at comic shops for 4.99 but also given away for free to youth and teacher organizations who are interested in using it as a tool against bullying.
