I am an African man

Lets hope this doesn't go the way of KONY 2012. I'm wary but I like the idea behind the video, to break down the social construct of the western worlds view of African men.

None On Record

(Thanks for this Osa)

I was browsing along when I came along a post by a friend of this film project. None On Record: Stories of Queer Africa is an oral documentary that tells the stories that aren't heard, that are thought to not exist. This collection of oratories is a defining moment of "we are here" for LGBT Africans with in the continent and through out the diaspora of African peoples. If your in New York head to the Schomburg on April 29th from 6-9pm for a panel discussion with several participates of the project.
