RED is an enigma. This dichotomy, being the extreme of LOVE and FEAR touches various palates of the human emotion. Its range of the feelings that it can evoke are almost endless, much as the spectrum of human emotions itself. Emotions that develop as a direct result of our shared experiences through life. "COLOR OF ME:the red line" is an abstract performance-art piece that tells the journey of three characters: red, yellow, and blue as they travel on "the red line." This piece is set to the songs of music artist Dy' Ari (www.reverbnation.com/dyari) with each color indirectly symbolizing the feelings within myself that reflect us all. It is a representation of the "line"/path we travel through life, and common experiences shared In this lifetime. An adaptation of the MTA subway grid is used to symbolize our common route; the ups downs, successes, and potential pitfalls in life, and especially that of the New Yorker. What character do we play in this city, and how does our true color tie in?
