Tamar Kali's Black Bottom Revue

Tamar Kali's voice is as lush as a kiss in the rain, wet hot and full of warmth. She is a all consuming force of creation. She is a Goddess of time and change, her time is now, after the release of her album "Black bottom", and the change is she is not one holding anything back. See the play and fund a movement, Black Boy CONSCIOUS

"BlackBoy CONSCIOUS is a wanted felon. He was once a prisoner of war and has broken free. Not considered a threat, his elite captors did not chase him. Then suddenly! He began to interrupt local church assemblies and school programs to share what he had found- himself. Word spread fast and BlackBoy instantly became a legend until the elites learned of this. Aware of his power, his captors organized material through the magic of television and film to turn you against him. A bounty has been placed over his head and now BlackBoy must plea for his life.
NOW your traditional broadcasting has just been interrupted by a web-cam image of an 18 year black boy with braids and a bandanna over his eye. What will he say? ...
Using the beautiful sounds of spoken word rap and folk style chanting, we take the journey with Black-Boy as we see a young confused yet aspiring adolescent to a man with a complicated past, much wisdom and many enemies." - Joseph Xavier Mack

RED

THE COLOR OF ME:the red line
red |red|
adjective ( redder , reddest )
1 of a color at the end of the spectrum next to orange and opposite violet, as of blood, fire, or rubies
RED is an enigma. This dichotomy, being the extreme of LOVE and FEAR touches various palates of the human emotion. Its range of the feelings that it can evoke are almost endless, much as the spectrum of human emotions itself. Emotions that develop as a direct result of our shared experiences through life. "COLOR OF ME:the red line" is an abstract performance-art piece that tells the journey of three characters: red, yellow, and blue as they travel on "the red line." This piece is set to the songs of music artist Dy' Ari (www.reverbnation.com/
