"Get ya Sausage" "I'm egging it", I told ya'll a while ago about this cat Wordspit making moves and his just doing it - one dollar at a time. Wordspit Brooklyn's own is taking to the air waves this week due to a new spot he appears in via the good folks over at Dollar Van Demo's and McDonald's. I'm so proud of the dude, and also Joya Bravo who appears as the songstress for the Ad. They are making moves as independent artist rising to the top. Be on the watch out for the Ad and for Wordspit and Joya Bravo.

Joya Bravo is the shiiiiiiiit. I caught up with the violin maven at the Afro-punk Smash event, may 27, at Webster Hall and I was blown away with her stage presence. She just puts it to the wall and lets the band wail away.

She started out soft with a little violin bow play,



Then launched into this rockous first song,







I also loved the cover she did of 311's "Amber",








My girl just keeps on hitting it with the ill violin medley,
