Queer Black Cinema festival

I came across this organization a while ago and support there quest to present LGBT film of african decent individuals. If you have a film you want to be seen or you are a perfromer, music, here's some information from the Queer Black Cinema blog,

Call for films and multi-media submissions are now open until August 15th. Artist of African descent from around the world are asked to submit their best work. Submission forms are available for download at www.Festival.queerblackcinema.org. Films without submission forms will not considered.

Music artist must have a single or complete CD available to the public with a link to a video performance online in order to qualify for the festival. For complete rules and qualifications, download submission form at www.Festival.queerblackcinema.org.

Caberet Cataplexy, a salute to Black history month.

Through comedy and dance the minds behind Caberet Cataplexy, Ashley Brockington and Minstah Black, have month after month since its inception, last year September, have brought to the stage the best and brightest underground black stars. A virtual railroad full of talent if you would, from Dancers to jugglers to French singers to comedic banter between the host all pile aboard the train to the Slipper room every last Monday of the month to do there thing. To celebrate them and this month of blackness, cause its only so long i want to share with you a few photot's taken by the door man - ME!
